TC Youth Clinic Goes Off Without A Hitch!
Sunday August 15 was the first in an upcoming series of TC Youth riding clinics, held at Stoney Lake Equestrian with clinician and Grand Prix Dressage rider Ute Busse.
Ute put the seven horse and rider combinations through their paces, teaching them the fundamental principles of dressage and helping them with their set goals.

Junior Rider Appreciative of Winning Boehm Bursary
Kerry Houlahan of Ottawa, ON was one of three recipients of the $350 Boehm Bursary Prize at Cornerstone's Spring Into Dressage CDI3* horse show June 4-6. Kerry took home the bursary for winning the FEI Junior Freestyle. To show her appreciation, Kerry sent along this lovely thank you note:
"Toronto CADORA, I would like to thank you for the $350 bursary that was given to me. I was the winner of the FEI Junior Freestyle at the Spring Into Dressage CDI 3*. The money will be put to good use as it will aid me in my hopes to make the FEI Junior Team that will compete in the NAJYRC in Kentucky this July. Once again thank you very much."
TC Youth presents "It's Show Time!"
Thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday April 11 to Stoney Lake Equestrian for TC Youth's event "It's Show Time!"
TC Youth would like to extend a very big thank you to our sponsors, Equestrian Factory Outlet and Ecogold who both provided door prizes. EFO was also the sole sponsor of our fashion show, which showcased show and everyday riding clothes for all ages.
Another feature of the day was the presentation to the winner of the "Win A Portrait" contest that TC Youth and EFO held on Facebook. Winner Ashley Duarte-Devlin was presented a portrait of her late horse Conan by EFO's resident artist Jozef. Ashley also walked away with a new jacket from EFO courtesy of our new membership draw.

TC Youth hosted an afternoon of movies and games at
Oakcrest Farms on Sunday February 28.

TC Youth Open House a HUGE Success!
More than 100 people came through the barn doors at Stoney Lake Equestrian on Sunday December 6th for TC Youth's premiere Open House! Visitors were greeted by two miniature horses before enjoying an afternoon of musical rides and Christmas treats! Read more and watch the videos .

TC Youth Bursary Award
The youth are the future of our sport. To encourage youth involvement in clinics, volunteering and other aspects of the discipline of dressage and to develop character building in all aspects of their lives, Equestrian Factory Outlet is sponsoring an annual Youth Bursary Award in the amount of $250. This award is to be given to one outstanding youth member per year who demonstrates dedication and commitment to her/his development in the sport. The qualifying time period to complete all the criteria will be January 1st - November 1st of each year. The young rider must be between the age of 14 and 21 years and have completed 6 criteria.download criteria download application form download TC Youth attendance form
